Choosing Inspired English

Q: Why should I choose Inspired English instead of another language school?
A: We get great results. We make learning English interesting, dynamic and enjoyable. We use powerful software tools so you can easily track your progress and complete assignments online.

Q: Why Should I use Inspired English instead of just finding an individual teacher?
A: A TEFL or similar qualification is just the beginning with teaching English. Inspired English conducts continual, in-depth training to ensure all our teachers are not only good English teachers but also able to teach online. Not only does your teacher follow your progress closely, but Inspired English tracks your progress too, so we are able to continue your lessons even if a teacher is absent. Sometimes it is useful to have more than one teacher as this will open you up to a wide range of accents, vocabulary, as well as increased listening and communication skills.

Lessons

Q: How do I get my free trial lesson?
A: After filling in the form on the website , you will have a meeting with our teaching advisor, who will guide you to find a teacher that is best suited to your needs. Thereafter, a trial lesson will be arranged as an introduction into your studies with Inspired English.

Q: How long will it take to reach fluency with the language or be 100% prepared for the IELTS test?
A: It is difficult to answer this question, as it depends largely on how many lessons are taken per week as well as how much time you spend at home practicing the English material that we give you. Practicing at home and having consistent English classes on Skype (3 -5 lessons per week) will help you improve more quickly. Each case is unique and we’ll do our best to determine your level.

Q: I am a beginner. Is it possible to study English online?
A: Of course! Our well-trained, patient and experienced teachers will guide you through the English language at the perfect speed for you.

Q: What are the benefits of online lessons as opposed to face to face classes?
A: All sorts! It saves you travel time, it’s cheaper, you have instant access to all the resources you want online and you can connect with a teacher from anywhere in the world from the comfort of your own home (or office, or car… wherever there’s wifi – we’re there!).

Q: Is the camera used during lessons?
A: Sure, if you’d like to use the camera, our teachers are all happy to do so. Some students prefer using the camera as it helps them to understand their teacher better and feel connected. Other students find it distracting and prefer to work on their listening skills. It does depend on your internet connection, though. Sometimes, if the connection is poor, we can only offer audio. Our online English classes allow for flexibility, so we’ll be guided by your needs.

Q: How do I arrange classes?
A: Just talk to your teacher and choose a convenient time together directly on Skype. Your lesson time will be confirmed after we have received payment for it.

Q: How many lessons should I take per week?
A: We recommend a minimum of 3-5 classes per week. Obviously, the more classes you have, the quicker you improve! Ultimately, it is entirely up to you; you are free to take as many or as few classes as you like.

Q: Will I be able to have the same lesson time with the same teacher each week?
A: We do whatever we can to make sure that you will have a lesson when you want one. However, the only way to guarantee that you will meet with the same teacher at the same time each week is to buy a package and pre-book lessons.

Payments

Q: Who pays the PayPal fee?
A: If you book one lesson at a time, you will be required to pay the PayPal fee to offset the additional admin costs. You do this by selecting the ‘send money to friends and family’ option on PayPal. If you pay for a package of 10 or more, Inspired English will cover the PayPal fee.

Q: How do I pay for classes?
A: You can easily pre-pay online with PayPal. If it’s not possible in your country, you can use Western Union or make a bank transfer. Please see below for instructions on how to pay with Western Union. Payment must be made at least 3 days before a lesson.

Q: Paypal is not available in my country. What other forms of payment can I use?
A: Western Union is a secondary option that is available in most countries. You will need to go into your bank or Western Union office. When you pay, they’ll provide you with a code as well as a secret question and answer. You can send these details, as well as your full name, address and mobile number, to Inspired English admin and they will then collect the money their side and confirm your payment.  Alternatively, you can make a bank transfer. However, there is an additional fee to cover bank charges.

Q: Can I get a discount?
A: Yes, absolutely! If you would like to have more affordable lessons, you are welcome to buy a package of 10 or more. Alternatively, you are welcome to join one of our group classes. Prices are non-negotiable.

Q. Can I can get a refund?

A: Here at Inspired English we are incredibly flexible. If a convenient time cannot be found, another option is to transfer your classes to a friend or family member at no added cost. Refunds are offered only in the case that there are no available teachers at the time you’ve requested for lessons . All refunds are made in dollars.

Q: Do you work with accent reduction?
A: Yes, certainly. Our teachers are all trained to help you improve your pronunciation and, if it’s what you want, eliminate your accent.
